A few Updates from the Chapter's Facebook Page...

Jackson Dunaway '19

Jackson has joined Atlantic Pacific Companies in Atlanta as an Analyst. He is a graduate of the USC International Business School. He is from the Isle of Palms and attended Wando High School.
Tom Brewbaker '15

Tom is Manager of Event Operations and Angler Relations with Major League Fishing in Nashville.
He is from Montgomery, Alabama and attended Montgomery Academy. He was a history major at Carolina.
Haydon Goer '11

Haydon is a Senior Buyer with Innophos Inc in Charleston. A former Eminent Archon, he graduated from Porter-Gaud and majored in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. Previously he was with iRecycleNow.com and Schulmerich Bells LLC in Pennsylvania.He was also a delegate to the SAE National Leadership School.
Courtney Leavitt '00

Congratulate Courtney on joining Agilent Technologies as a Crosslab Enterprise Business Development Sales Specialist in Columbia. He serves as president of the SC Delta Alumni Association and has been a passionate supporter and advisor for the chapter for many years. Courtney has also served as President of the USC Lettermens Association and is a former placekicker and punter for the Carolina Football Team (1996-1999).
John Orren '13

Congratulation to John with his new position as Mechanical Design Engineer with Everworks Inc in Greenville. After graduating from J L Mann High School, he majored in mechanical engineering at Carolina.
Dr. James E Wiseman, Jr. '56

Elected as the lay representative from Congressional District 5 in 2002, Dr. Wiseman is a retired dentist and a member of the South Carolina Dental Association. He is past president of the Central District Dental Society and past president of the S.C. Academy of Practice Administration. Dr. Wiseman is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and obtained a D.M.D. degree from the University of Louisville in 1959.

Dr. Wiseman is the recipient of many awards, among which are the Governor’s Rural Summit Award, Woodrow Wilson Award, Order of the Palmetto, S.C. Dental Association Citizenship Award, and the S.C. Downtown Development Award. Dr. Wiseman served on the Board of Directors of the Newberry Federal Savings Bank and is Chair of the Newberry Opera House Foundation. He served on the Newberry City Council from 1991 to 2000. He was named Distinguished Alumnus of the University of South Carolina in 2006.

He resides now in West Columbia.He was very influential on the renovation and opening of the Newberry Opera House.

Adam Holmes '01

Adam is in his fourth years as Head Football Coach and Athletic Director at Gray Collegiate Academy in West Columbia, He has been coaching and teaching for 15 years. He graduated from USC in 2001. He was a four year starter in football for the Gamecocks from 1998-2001. Adam has been married for 12 years to Sabrina Senn, and they have four children, Conner(11), Kaleb(9), Hayes(7), and Sadie(5).

Previously, Adam served a stint as an assistant coach at multi-SCISA Class 3-A champion Hammond School before taking over as Head Football Coach and teacher at Orangeburg Prep School.
Cory Amick '08

Cory is now a Self Perform Project Manager with Shaw Construction in Denver, CO. He transferred to Carolina from Mercer where he graduated with a Mass Communication and Media Studies degree. He attended Brookland Cayce High School.
David Seawell '96

David is a Sales Associate at Woodside Development in Aiken. He is an accomplished golfer, and went pro from 1996 to 200. He negotiated contracts with Fripp Island, Perry Ellis, Nike and Bridgestone as well as formed and presided over the David Lee Seawell Tour, Inc. He graduated from South Aiken High School and majored in Marketing at Carolina. He is married to Ashley Thomas.
Gabriel Roldan '13

Gabriel relocated to San Francisco where he is an Associate with Transwestern, a commercial real estate company. He majored in Finance and Econ at Carolina, and attended Cardinal Newman High School.
  Russ Purdy '12

Russ is a financial advisor, and Vice President/Wealth Management Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Columbia.

Russ is originally from Lexington, Kentucky, but attended boarding school at The McCallie School in Chattanooga. He graduated summa cum laude from the International Business program at USC with a dual major in international business and finance and a minor in Chinese.

He studied abroad in Shanghai, China at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics for three months, focusing on Chinese language, trade from a Chinese perspective and enterprises in China. He married Simmons Trapp in 2013 and enjoys cooking and collecting sports memorabilia, as well as spending time with Simmons and their two beagles.

He also served as Eminent Treasurer, Pledge Class President, and Assistant Pledge Educator with the chapter.
Ryan Principe '08

Ryan is now Director, Revenue Integrity for Prisma Health in Columbia. He graduated with his MHA in Healthcare Administration from Carolina in 2013. Ryan attended Waccamaw High School in Pawleys Island.
  Tim O'Farrell '81

Tim is Owner of Re-Bath of the Midlands on Shop Road in Columbia. Previously he was a builder and salesman with Lake Carolina Development and had his own company, O'Farrell Builders from 1984 to 2000. He majored in finance and real estate at Carolina.
  Nick Murray '17

Nick has joined Chernoff Newman as an Account Manager in Charleston. He attended Dreher High School and majored in Management and Marketing at Carolina.

Foster M Mays '81

Foster has joined St Michaels in the Hills Episcopal Church in Toledo, Ohio as Priest in Charge. He left the Church of he Epiphany where he was the Rector in Sedan, Kansas.

He graduated from seminary at The University of the South, Sewanee in May 2010 where he got his Masters in Divinity. Foster also obtained his MBA from George Washington University in 1991. He majored in management and insurance at Carolina.

From Alexandria, VA, he attended Episcopal High School. He comes from a family of SAE's including the late Marshal Mays '51. Foster is married to Linda.

  Matt Joseph '07

Matt is The Benefits Manager of The Spinx Company in Greenville. He attended Cardinal Newman High School and majored in business admin at Carolina.
  Mac Humphries '04

Mac is a Commercial Insurance Broker with Keenan Suggs Insurance in Columbia, Prior he was with Nationwide Insurance as an agent.
  Thomas Galloway '00

Thomas is now Director of Human Resources at Bomag Americas, Inc. in Columbia. Previously he was Director of HR for McEntire Produce Inc. He majored in marketing and management at Carolina. He attended Patrick Henry Academy in Estill.
  J. William Douglas III '08

William is now the Service Supervisor for Cintas in Columbia. Previously he was a sales rep for Red Bull and Republic National Distribution Company. From Athens, GA, he attended Clarke Central High School and majored in Sociology at Carolina.

His father Bill is a member of the chapter, Class of 1978.
Shawn Chandler '15

Shawn is a Territory Manager with Goosehead Insurance Agency in Dallas. Originally from Columbia, he attended Carolina from 2010-2012, then went to Texas Tech from 2012-2015 where he graduated with a degree in Human Sciences (CFAS). Goosehead Insurance is a leading franchise opportunity providing entrepreneurs with a turn-key insurance agency model.
Rob Cassidy '04

Rob is the Head Tennis Professional at Forest Lake County Club in Columbia. Originally from Greenville, he attended Greenville High School. He also teaches at Carolina as a Professor in PEDU 121 - Beginner Tennis where he develops and executes all lesson plans. He played on the Carolina Varsity Team and served on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
  Corey Boyer '12

Corey is Manager of Business Development at Tricentis in London, England. He attended the SAE Leadership School while in the chapter. From Columbia, he attended Dreher High School. He once stated: "I am originally from Columbia, SC and I am a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelors of Arts degree, majoring in both Political Science and Psychology. The knowledge gained during my tenure has primed me to perform at a high level in multiple fields."
